Economic ministry expects noticeable GDP increase in 2023

MOSCOW, Mar 23 (PRIME) -- The Economic Development Ministry expects the gross domestic product (GDP) growth of more than 0.1–0.2% in 2023, Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said Thursday.

"We confirm that our expectations for this year are positive, we expect significant growth based on the figures connected with the economic development, investment, better forecasts for people's income," the minister said.

According to the current forecast of the ministry, the GDP will fall by 0.8% in 2023.
